My Star Trek RP group (shoutout Rune & Relic haha) finished a three year game not too long ago; we're in pre-production for a new run but I'm still emotional & wish we had more time with our first characters. I've had an AU DnD reskin in mind for ages! This only makes me wanna do that more now haha!

Like learning to draw, communication is a skill we practice, you'll never grow if you're afraid to even start. Any "I like this" means more than any unknown/bot "like" or cold, lonely, silence. Plus, if you're not personally invited to critique, as a viewer you're not expected to be profound anyway!

I wish more folks would engage with my own art. It hurts to put yourself out there and get nothing back sometimes. That said; I totally get the lighthearted nature OPs post overall. It’s kinda like flirting, in a way. Funny & awkward at first but truly fun and rewarding the more you go about it!

I feel the point of sharing art is an earnest bid to connect & the hardest part is already done in the act of its creation. To not comment then, when I truly feel something from art, is disrespectful of that person’s time, effort, & of their vulnerability to share. That’s not shameful; that’s human.
