I do feel bad for Jack Gleeson, the actor for Joffrey. He played the part perfectly, but folks who couldn't separate fiction from reality went too far with him.

Did a little more work on Twilight's evolution from crowning to growing into the next Equestrian ruler. Upon the advice of @mintyroot.bsky.social, I tried a more stylized, rounded mane style before her powers grow to the point where she just has to let it flow freely.

Without getting into the reasons behind this, I did a test of Stan Bush's "The Touch" against the combining sequence for the heroic mecha, GaoGaiGar.

I only made two edits to the video portion, but it's amazing how closely they sync up.

That's not to say I'm mocking people who believe in the Rapture. I do think it a mistake to worry about the Rapture.

Faith shouldn't be presented as an ultimatum. "Believe or you're going to hell." That's the surest way to turn people away, and it's not what Christ's followers should focus upon.

Finally saw “K-Pop Demon Hunters”, and I see why everyone is singing its praises.

But I think I’m not in the right headspace to fully appreciate it. So much terrible news, it’s really having an impact.

I'm not dismissing the grief of the past week, but I also think we need to remember other people caught up in violence.
