October is Black Cat Awareness Month! We have quite a few brave 'Void Cats' as part of our feral crew, as well as one sturdy office cat.

Black cats are often the last to be adopted. So if you plan to add a cat to your family, please consider a Black Kitty. They are nothing but good luck! 🐈‍⬛❤️

We just read that Dr. Jane Goodall passed away today. She spent her life as a champion for animals and the natural world. She spoke for those who could not speak and was relentlessly kindness.

Much of what we do was inspired by her example. Thank you, Jane. You will be missed. #RIPJaneGoodall

As a child I used to pretend to be Jane Goodall. Her raw willingness to be exactly who she was in every situation spoke to me and gave me strength. Rest well, Jane.

Spring & Autumn are our favorite seasons. They are a nice break from the heat of summer and the cold of winter. We hope you're taking advantage of the milder weather to have some fun outside. Taking care of feral and community cats & critters is hard work. Remember to take care of yourself too! 🐱🦝🐾🍂

September 22 is the first day of fall. We're getting our cat houses ready for the cooler months - switching out straw & repairing roofs. It's a nice break for us and our feral & community cats from the heat of summer & the cold of winter. We hope you are able to enjoy the season! 🐱🦝🐾🍂#FallEquinox

Happy September! It's still a bit hot here, but there's a hint of autumn in the air & a few leaves have started to fall. Summer is a tough times for feral critters & the folks who care for them. So we're looking forward to a few cooler months so that we can get the colony ready for winter. 🐈‍⬛🐈🍂

A simple reminder, summer or winter, that a knock on the hood of your car saves lives. 🐱❤️
