How to Restore and Preserve Democracy in India?

A 2 step process.

Yes, reregulation but under public control. It can be done without any tech even, using elections through multi winner approval voting.

ought a fan for high efficiency that gives 50% electricity savings. But... It has a feature to connect to Alexa or Google Home. It means Google will even know when you switch on or off your fan if you connect it online. #Capitalism #Surveillance What kind of dystopian world are we turning into?
We are on same page the we both want fundamental systemic changes.

But for it we need correct models to build and follow. That's the challenging part.

Reregulation means government control, which is as terrible as corporate control. We need something different, but that's a mammoth task for individuals in small number who are working.
We just need better tooling and more apps to make that transition easier.
But that’s unlikely to happen because of the AT Protocol’s design. Since it’s FOSS, users can choose their own algorithms and app views. Financialization can simply be an optional feature in certain apps — if you don’t like it, you can switch to another view.
We need marketing groups to help users quit big tech and join Bluesky.

We also need to focus on monetizing content creators and bluesky tool developers.

This won’t be possible without blockchain.
Some users are worried about “hyperfinancializing” the social experience.
There is now almost no winter where I live.

India, remember this...

The world’s poorest countries are going to get hotter more quickly than wealthier nations, and will stay that way for a longer period each year, the United Nations found in a new report that looks at how climate change is worsening global poverty.

You can judge any city by the quality and vitality of its places for public life. Here in Torino Italy it’s the many piazzas, the pedestrian streets, & the public market. Many cities had to claim these places back from cars.

Don’t have those kinds of places in your city? Are you sure you’re a city?

Beyond the Kitchen and the Gossip Circle: Reimagining the Role of Middle-Class Women in India’s Workforce
Corruption: When norms upstage the law

Many people comply with corrupt norms not because they believe in them, but because they fear social exclusion or retaliation or that they will fail to meet familial obligations.

People with good motives may engage in bribery and worse depending on what society expects of them. A political scientist explains.

FPTP, and then the mean will also do fine for assigning reputation scores.

#Easy.
So many ways it can go wrong, like decision fatigue.

🤣

Experiment first, than decide.

I will invite climate activist academics to vote first.

After getting gas limit error doing it in so many ways, I decided on the simplest algorithm.

Rational Dex.

A DEX where the price of tokens is decided by academicians. Let's see how it works.
Once they receive their reputation score, they will vote on the token prices. The higher the reputation, the greater the voting weight. The final price will be the mean of all votes.
Here is the process: Academicians will receive a reputation score based on their profile, ranging from 0 to 5. The reputation score is determined through conviction voting.

They won't believe. Our information system is designed in this manner.

Ninety-nine per cent of scientists believe in human-related climate change. So why does the general public lag so far behind?
If people don't trust climate science, how will we ever get them to change?

23 states sue Trump for closing $7 billion worth of solar projects designed to help low-income communities. It's hard to think of an investment that would have more benefits for people's lives, local economies and of course, the environment.

Decentralization was meant to escape Campbell’s Law — to take power away from corruptible centralized authorities. But it eventually fell into the same trap once again.

Once a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.
