They were showing Shakedown outside the venue live and I was like holy shit, I have to get down there right now! Called my friend and we immediately left the burbs and headed into town. I had no idea about the scene at that point, at all.

I had seen a a bunch of concerts before this, I was all about live music at a young age. But this was soooo different.
I got home from school, and was probably watching The People’s Court lol, when the teaser for 5:00 news came on…”Deadheads are taking over the streets!”…

My first show anniversary!
It was my 17th bday and I asked my parents to buy me tickets. They came through with Row 10, Jerry side. This night changed my life, in so many ways. Cheers Deadheads! ❤️⚡️💙

This first set was such a rollercoaster! Combine that craziness with the black pyramids going around back then…melted..
at setbreak, I was on my way out the door in full panic mode when I ran into a friend in the same headspace and thankfully the lights went out for set two and we held in there. 😵‍💫

Dave Brightwood’s shop. The amount of instruments coming in and out of his shop is a devastating loss to Ned’s musical history, which is vast and includes SCI, YMSB, LOS, Elephant Revival, Magic Beans…and that’s just in recent history. Caribou Ranch recording studio is when it all started. Dang.
