They're not allies, despite all their talk, and very now and then they'll yank each other's chain (e.g. the map names). Putin and Xi have a common rival though and Xi has his eye on who might run RU after Putin is gone. He doesn't want RU to pivot back to the West.

Not yet. Now they pressure RU to sell cheap energy in return for dual-use goods and a UN-Vote here and there. But they did make that statement, and when they speak so clearly then there's often a firm intent behind it. A russian loss is not in their interest.

Effektiv, ein gemeinsames statement von alle EU Staaten die nicht RU-freundlich sind, gleich am selben Tag, wo ein möglicher Ausflug von Putin nach Ungarn bekannt gemacht wurde, wäre mal ein gute Gelegenheit gewesen um Klartext zu reden.

A growing number of people all over the US is voicing loud and clear that they are no longer accepting the increasingly autocratic behaviour of a president who is more interested in dividing than uniting his people (divide & rule) and who shows a declining interest in the separation of powers.

The 2nd Edition of #NoKings turned out to be a positive surprise to me.
Estimated crowd size grew from 5 million the first time to about 7 million more, which i hadn't expected. It all remained peaceful but with razor-sharp message.
