No religion is the truth, but there is truth in all of them.
Coexist. Be kind.

The book is enjoyable overall, though some parts feel tedious due to the overwhelming information, especially for non-physicists. Is it a compelling story? Sure. At twice the necessary length, it detracts from its purpose.

This book kept me reading past my usual bedtime. The legal procedural is convincingly realistic. The young lawyer's reluctance to defend her client again is clear. I eagerly await the next book in this series!

Freida's thriller is truly engaging! Initially, I hesitated because it seemed similar to a famous author's novel, but it turned out to be unique enough to keep me invested and excited throughout. Highly recommend!

The thriller kept me hooked, though some parts were predictable. A few twists kept me engaged, but some aspects didn't quite make sense. This was my first book by this author. There was a decent twist midway, but in my opinion, the book was a bit too long.

Overall, it was an engaging storyline. However, I can't recommend it. While I understand the character has endured much, true strength lies in growing through hardships rather than letting them jade and stunt personal growth.

I'm sorry but I wanted to DNF. The narrative seemed quite perplexing, with the characters diverging and then converging only at the end. It was confusing. Although the pace and excitement improved significantly in the end, the overall effect was rather weak.

Both fooled the rich into giving them money.
One of them even fooled the poor into giving him money, while proclaiming to be mega (maga?) wealthy. *smh*

This book had so many twists and turns that it kept me guessing! Paige, Aaron's wife, wants her family to survive an affair, trusting Aaron's decision to end it with Cara. Sounds simple enough, right? It was a great read.

I adore Freida McFadden, but this story felt a bit familiar. The last few chapters were impactful, like a sudden jolt. There was a nice twist at the end—not as shocking as her usual ones, but it wrapped up the story nicely!

It's ironic that the journey to recovery from a lifetime of exploitation by a social media-obsessed, abusive mother involves writing a book that explores the same situation from a different perspective. I do understand the healing it does. Fantastic read.

Decent level of suspense, but it feels rather cheap. It's a real pot boiler! Seemed like the author forgot parts of the storyline and if Sophie is supposed to drive the narrative, it falls flat. Too much back and forth between years and months.

Seems like every book these days is written with more than one timeline. Many more than two. For example, the one I'm reading now starts in 2017, then goes to 2018 and then to 2016. What does everyone think of that?
