Me, watching a series where one of the characters is a nasty piece of work. They fall down a set of stairs in a domestic dispute and die. I say out loud,"OMG, is he dead?"

Spotted snow geese flying past the dyke in Richmond. Much nicer looking geese than the Canadian geese. The contrast of the black tipped wings over white bodies is far more striking.

Writing tip: After you finish, go back & cut all the adverbs. Then all the adjectives. Then all the other words. Eat the paper. Now you're free.

Until there was a small dog in the house, we never felt the need to talk in a higher octave to our #pets. But I swear, the higher my voice, the faster Valkyrie's tail wags. Lol.

I've been in the construction & design/decorating business for 38 years. I will never accept the term "open concept" as a descriptor for a conjoined space. It is an open floor plan. A concept is an idea. If the open floor plan already exists, then it is no longer a concept. I will die on this hill.
