It's so fun and informative to try to copy a work of art you enjoy, in the same medium, a different one, whatever. I wish everyone who does not identify as an artist would try this without concern for "being good." or doing it "right."

Falling in love with a new band is so nice. My latest is Clairaudience. A bit like a less pretentious Go Betweens (it's the Robert Forster-ish voice) at times and nothing like them at others.
