Well, i do, but pretty traditional actually, nothing fancy.
I've even already done a super silly scheme, here:
1. Start from simple shapes
2. Find a place for the eyes, line of the mouth, line for the middle of the forehead
3-4. add details, some basic anatomy
5. color
