So, have we had enough of Russell Vought and his #Project2025 yet? Have we had enough of the American military in our streets on these ginned up Reichstag fire excuses?

Are you asking yourself WHY only a pitiful 53% of the public disapproves of all this, when we are clearly on the verge of …

In the online gaming world with economies, that kind of thing is known as a "money sink."

Overheard at Publix checkout:

Shopper1: these prices are killing me. Fucking Biden.

Shopper2: Turn off Fox and within hours you’ll be saying ‘fucking Trump.’

Shopper1: I don’t just watch Fox. Ever heard of Newsmax?

If it wasn’t such an expensive giggle, it would be funny AF watching MAGA morons pretend they like paying tariffed prices, just so they don’t have to pretend they haven’t made the biggest mistake of their dumb-assed lives.

I look for the symbols of wealth inequality in places others don’t. Who the fuck spends $824 on a minimalist bathroom sink faucet, except private equity douche nozzles trying to impress their friends with how much money they can burn on things nobody needs.

The announcers just said what I was thinking while I was thinking it. That maybe this is the first time in my lifetime that I’ve seen the Packers play the Bears at a time when both teams were actually pretty good.

I’m watching the Packers game and pretending I’m in @marmel.bsky.social’s living room, drinking cheap beer and pretending I don’t see the fucking cheese hat.

Another tariff blow. Stepped into a @Lowe’s lately? Crappy little Chinese tools that were $8-14 four months, are now $18-45. Throughout the store, same story. And nobody in the MSM is talking about it. Because the Right now owns most of it.

@ChatGPT has been down almost the entire day. You can chat, but that’s about it. You can’t create canvases or read project files. This happens way too often, and it’s really annoying.

Thanks for being the first one to comment. I was actually going to propose 4 months ago in a document I wrote that we should start referring to MAGA this way and start taking the word away from them. No one likes to be called “gullible”. Repeat no one,
Love this: "Manipulating All Gullible Americans."

Indeed, and can we keep talking like this and avoid attacking sitting Democrats? That has never helped much before and it won’t help now.

These new AI narrators the Washington Post and others are using are so good, now adding emotion and nuanced tones pretty convincingly, it’s easy to see human narrators becoming an extinct species, if they’re not already.

I’m beginning to understand why some believe AI teachers could help solve …

I priced a hat from The Irish Store. The sale price was fantastic, the shipping from Ireland was a little high, but reasonable.

The tariff added more than the shipping, I noped out.

Trump National Sales tax, supported by dumb MAGA morons, I refuse to pay it.

Good morning. I just got hit with Trump tariffs when I tried to find a new bathroom faucet. A decent entry level model was about $35 a year ago. Now it’s double that. And anything with any quality or style are $100-300+. Thanks, MAGA! (Manipulating All Gullible Americans.)

I’m listening to Sarah Brightman sing “A White Shade of Pale” on Pandora,

It’s as if Emily Dickenson wandered into a smoky ’60s lounge and refused to leave until everyone shared their feelings.

To be fair, I also feel this way about Rush Limbaugh, Jesse Helms, Charlie Kirk, and most people who profited from pandering to the lowest common denominators among of human beings. I look forward to feeling it about Rupert Murdoch, soon.

For literally my entire life, American conservatives have been demonstrably, if not empirically wrong about almost every single thing they ever advocated for. Meanwhile, American liberals have been obscenely incompetent at finding ways to make the public understand that.

In the 1960s, all it took was a single journalist, Walter Cronkite to impact popular opinion and change the direction of the country. And conservatives swore they’d never let that happen again. And to this day, it hasn’t.

Decades ago, I had a one night stand with a woman who was going to bring to America a blind Italian singer no one ever heard of. I nodded politely. All these years later, hearing Bocelli brings back fond memories of my misspent youth.

Do you have a problem with closing interior doors after the cat (or dog) slips in or out of the room, and just hate the idea of installing a pet door (indoors)? I’ve made a prototype of a solution, and wondering if I should think about marketing it. Reply if you’d buy.
