I appreciate your effort very much. I’m in a very small town now and not expecting a big event, but hoping for the best. I’m a bit disappointed that the site only reports 1.5 million sign-ups so far, but not everyone that attends signs up.

What do Tech writers do all day? ChatGPT is one of the biggest applications on the planet and it’s been in meltdown for over a month. Browsers choke and lag unusably after a few minutes of chat. Mobile is okay but mobile has no features. @OpenAI will not respond.

Yeah but according to the sign-up site there have only been 1.5 million so far. But I didn’t sign up for several rallies, so that’s not necessarily dispositive of much, but still… I wanted to see 10 times this number

I don’t think these protests accomplish much, but they are at least a gesture that reminds people that there is SOMETHING they can do, even if it’s not much. This may help when something more substantive comes along, and they could be more inclined to act (again).
