he’s the most powerful helpless person in the world!!

or maybe the most helpless powerful person…? one of those 🤔
my Canadian partner lives in Europe… you wouldn’t know them
The Witness
What Remains of Edith Finch
Firewatch

some puzzle-ish games in case you need a change of pace
this is so nice to hear!!
I’ve been so buried in all the bad news that I haven’t heard anything about him since the conclave
It’s Saturday! Post a favorite cartoon

yeah, I know it’s actually Sunday… don’t @ me
I learned something new today!
thank you 😊
now if we could only get him to accidentally on purpose hit the “Fund the Wheel of Time” button… now that would be somethin’!!
I think very few of us actually followed that rule 🤣
a couple did. a couple others charged ahead!
but I think the majority of us did what I did
when we finally got cable, all that meant was the local stations came in clearly and we could get the “local” stations from other cities like LA or NYC.
oh! and HBO. but HBO wasn’t 24 hours either, mostly it was just their schedule. white text on a blue background.
internet still didn’t exist
no internet…
no cable tv…
just a few stations that came in clearly. maybe a couple that only kinda sorta came in. none of them broadcasted for a full 24 hours. “This ends our broadcast day” followed by the national anthem happened somewhere between midnight and 3am. the rest of the DIAL was static.
What’s a real thing from your childhood that kids these days would find completely foreign?

Like, how we used to be able to walk right up to the gate to meet our family coming off a flight.

Or how we had to pick a spot to meet at the theater BEFORE we went.
I’ve always been a slow and thorough reader, so before I got to any of the “say this weird thing out loud” directions, other kids were already doing it. so I knew something was up and I skimmed to the end. then I erased everything I’d done, signed the top and handed it in 😁
if you actually followed that first direction and read all the way through, the last line told you to just sign the top and hand it in.
I think it was supposed to teach you to follow directions or always read the whole test before beginning. honestly not sure 🤷🏻
the first couple of questions/directions seemed pretty normal. the first one being “read all the way through before doing anything else” or something like that.
then it got weird.

yup! had one in eighth grade. had all sorts of weird directions, like, “draw four squares” or to say some weird phrase out loud.
it was a radioactive circus strongman
I’m definitely moving in that direction… my only hope for accountability lies solely in the lackeys and henchmen getting some jail time. it’s not much hope, but it’s what I’ve got for now
they couldn’t get rid of the whole thing all at once… so they’ll just try and erase it us one group at a time
it really felt like the video cut out *just* before a collision 😳
safe travels!!
have ALL the fun 🩵🤍🩷
