People get really upset when you point out that harm reduction doesn't fucking work. Or that purity politics isn't a thing when we are literally just asking politicians to do the bare fucking minimum instead moving with the party. You either represent the party or the people. You can't do both.

The issue with "be peaceful and follow the law" crowd and their associated "tactics" is that they have no answer to the most important question. What happens when your peaceful protest is inevitably ignored? What happens when your vague demands produce no material change? What is the follow up?

I'm convinced liberals have no real beliefs or principles beyond capitalism and power. They don't believe in trans rights as they are willing to sacrifice them for votes. They don't care about minorities as they're willing to sacrifice them for votes. Same for health care. Civil rights. Democracy

It's delusional to believe there is a diplomatic solution to the genocide in Gaza. There wasn't one with nazis. There won't be one with zionists. Military intervention on a large scale is the only alternative. Most western governments support it or refuse to do meaningful action to stop it.

The entirety of liberals and an unsettling amount of leftists are living under the naive and foolish belief that we will somehow return to a "proper way" of doing things. They fail to realize this is the norm. This is normal. The only thing that changed is the mask has been lifted.

Anyone who thinks you can't vote extra hard and get to a more just society at the highest level is naive and deeply unserious. Liberal democracies only exist to quell tension in the masses while perpetuating capitalism. Reforms and concessions at the lower level do not translate upward.

I've definitely withdrawn a majority of my political and even some non political opinions from almost all of my friends. I have no interest in debating people who see my opinion as not only different but wrong or some sign that I'm somehow not thinking clearly. They wouldn't understand
