Fun start to the day. Horrific weather for my walk to the station, nearly run over by two idiot drivers not paying attention and sailing across zebra crossing, train is late, and forgot the bundle of stuff I needed to post today. Onwards and upwards eh!

The Human Adventure is Just Beginning. Celebrating Star Trek: The Motion Picture, which premiered in theatres on Dec 7, 1979. The film had flaws, but was a major triumph, for Gene Roddenberry, for the production team, and most of all for the fans, whose determination & persistence made it possible.

Spent an evening in Cambridge seeing James B Partridge doing Christmas Assembly Bangers (plus others...) and it was superb. If you've not come across him, have a look 🙂 there was much audience singing. Including by me (albeit the noises I make don't count as singing).

WFH today and started the Christmas puddings steaming as my first act out of bed. 1 biggie for my family, a smaller one for his mum and dad, and a couple of extra ramekins. 8 hours for the biggie to steam 😳

Found ourselves a new craft beer bar. Sadly it's not a 15 minute walk from home like the old one, nor near my train station for when I'm headed home...but it is in the town where my husband works and through which I commute. And it's a great bar. Still though.
