I heard a Mom talking today about how happy she was that someone was handing out bottles of water on #Halloween.

Back in the day I would have fucking egged that house.

On and off for an entire year.

This is the cloak my wife made me from 4 heavy wool army blankets. It weighs about 5kgs and has a lot of pockets and a few hidden ones on the inside.

Facing forward with the hood up and my hands in the sleeves.

Facing forward with the hood down and my arms spread. Cloak is ankle length and is tied from the neck to about a quarter of the way down to close it.

My philosophy is the world is too big a problem and beyond my means.

I see it more like being a candle in a very dark place. I only need to provide just enough light to see and help light the candle next to me. We push the darkness back one candle at a time.

Just choose to be a light.

Don't take childhood away from those that still get to experience it.
Six months old or 600 years old, they come in costume, give them candy.

PS: If Mr. Dressup taught us anything, when we were kids, it was always have a tickle trunk full of costumes, and never lose that inner child. (End)

That 6'6" person could also be developmentally delayed and they still participate in Halloween because they love it and are still a child at heart.
Don't judge. Be glad that they are still having fun. They're still playing the game of trick-or-treat. (Continued)

You may get teenagers at your door, this may be the last year that they can still play at Halloween, still play the game of dress up and trick-or-treat. They may be 6'6" tall and still be just 12 years old. Let them have this, give them some candy. (Continued)
