Trump and Miller will probably get the blood in the streets they want eventually. We don’t know when or how it will unfold, or how the public will come to perceive it. But we do know that no matter how it unfolds or is perceived, it is already their fault. All we can do is our best.

The oompa loompa not only broke the national “equilibrium”, but he did it without a precipitating economic or security calamity. Yes, whatever happens next is all on him - and on the (today, quite ironically called) “conservatives”.

Apparently China is in the process of eliminating its tariff on imported Canadian Canola oil - which is likely what this is all about. It will mean an increase in Canola oil prices here. Mr 3-D chess is just too dumb to enunciate it.

Which means China will substitute US soybean oil with Canadian canola oil - increasing the price of canola oil in the US. He’s playing 3-D chess alright - like a toddler throwing the pieces.

Last year, the Italian-American community of New Haven, CT was proud to install “Indicando la via al futuro” to replace a statue of Christopher Columbus removed in 2020.

This is important. Unlike other allegedly “woke” cancellations, Columbus was known as a sadistic scoundrel even in his own time. Montesinos and De Las Casas complained loudly to Rome. He is not celebrated in any of the countries where he actually landed.

There’s a difference between engaging in fraud (which many companies do on one level or another) and being “a fraud” - the latter indicates that the company’s core business is a sham and the books are completely cooked. Think Enron or Madoff.
