A message to parents of children 0-18: Break your addiction to social media and screen life.

If you are focused on the screen, you’ll miss the moments you can’t get back.
Stay present, or you’ll miss it.
Mother smiling with infant in her arms, without the distraction of screens.

Mamdani: "I just want to speak directly to the president. I will not be a mayor like Mayor Adams who will call you to stay out of jail. I won't be a disgraced governor like Andrew Cuomo who will call you to ask how to win this election. I can do those things on my own."

Are you participating in a nokings.org rally on Saturday, 10/18? Here are some helpful tips to get your messages across in safe, peaceful, and joyous ways.
NO KINGS
Top 10 Rally Reminders
Lead with Love, Not Anger.
Focus your energy on what you stand for, not what you stand against. Anger fades;
compassion lasts.
Look Out for One Another.
Offer water, a smile, or friendly chat to someone nearby. Check on families, elders, and people with mobility needs.
Smile and Greet Others.
Say hello, wave, or share a word of encouragement. Small acts of friendliness build community trust and lower tension.
Celebrate Families and Kids.
Keep the atmosphere family-friendly, and invite children to join in with chants and songs-joyful ways to express civic pride.
Lift Your Voice with Positivity.
Joy is contagious. The more you smile, sing, and stay grounded, the safer and stronger everyone around you feels.
Keep It Clean and Respectful.
Leave our rally space as beautiful as you found it-or better. Treat it with respect, care, and gratitude for peace.
Make Your Sign Speak Peace.
Choose messages that uplift-creative, clever, values-based signs draw attention without aggression or profanity.
Be Mindful of Words & Tone.
Speak with kindness, even when disagreeing. Avoid insults, sarcasm, or chants that demean others.
Model Nonviolence in Every Action.
If confronted, breathe, stay calm, and step back. Do not engage or argue, alert a Guardian in an orange vest.
Carry Joy Beyond the Rally.
After the event, share stories, photos, and reflections that highlight unity and courage-show the world what peaceful power looks like.

Bessent's wealth insulates him from understanding the struggles of ordinary citizens. American history should be required for anyone working in the government, especially those who are wealthy.

Meta has removed a Chicago ICE-tracking Facebook page.

The move follows Apple and Google removing ICE activity tracking apps from their app stores.

The removals came after a demand from Trump’s DOJ.

Once again, Big Tech is bending the knee to our tyrant-in-chief to protect its bottom line.

I appreciate your effort, but DJT couldn’t care less about the “afterlife”. He only cares about his body in this life as a dominant alpha male cutting deals with Strong men, surrounding himself with yes men and blonde buxom women, and obsessively acquiring more and material possessions.

Q: This has been reported for a while. Cory Mills was accused of beating a girlfriend in his DC apt. Are you concerned about these allegations?

JOHNSON: You have to ask Rep. Mills about that. He's been a faithful colleague. I don't know the details. Let's talk about things that are really serious

🚨 ACTION ALERT: While the government is shut down, House Republicans are conspiring to push through a vote on a dangerous federal Concealed Carry Mandate that would allow people from other states to carry hidden, loaded guns in your community, even if your state’s laws would legally block them.

Q: Politico reported on a group chat of young Republicans. Does this just reflect some bad apples?

HOCHUL: Some bad apples? These are the future of the GOP. This is so vile it's hard to find the words to put into context ... there's gotta be consequences ... this bullshit has to stop.

If men with guns and masks tried to pull me out of my car, I'd fight back. Courts should reject any claims by the government that this is aggression by the person being detained, resisting arrest, or that they're a flight risk.

AZ AG Mayes: If I have to, I’ll take Speaker Johnson to court. There's no legitimate reason for him to refuse to swear her in right now. And it's not fair for Mike Johnson to be holding the state of Arizona hostage because he doesn't want to release the Epstein files.

So, China is buying soy beans from Argentina instead of America but we are giving Argentina billions of dollars? Also, Argentinians have free healthcare but Americans do not and our government is now shut down because it doesn’t have enough money to give Americans even a discount on healthcare?

Trump is saying the quiet part out loud: he sent a $20B taxpayer-financed bailout to help his far-right buddy Milei cling to power.

Meanwhile our government is shut down, public servants aren't getting paid & we're barreling toward a Trump-made health care crisis. Sounds like Argentina First to me.
