We're in Mexico and although we were able to watch Game 1 on TV we can't find it tonight 😭. Instead I fell asleep at 8pm. It's now 1:51AM and I'm wide awake.

I don't believe either happens. The prom is typically held in a local hotel or country club with no issues. There are at least 8 high schools in our district and in all my years I've never heard of any issues requiring security or police. The venue manages serving alcohol and asking for ID.

Proms in that Limestone DSB are solely organized by students and held at offsite facilities. Teachers do not attend or supervise and have nothing to do with it. It's been that way for over 30 years since I graduated.

Yesterday, at breakfast we met a lovely couple. Last night we were seated with them at the Mexican Fiesta and found out they are Trump supporters. We'll be hiding from them for the rest of the week. #nokings
