(10/9/24 X) Completely mind-bending awards in the arena of computational tools coming after a long history of not recognizing mathematics! AI breakthrough in protein folding and making new proteins garners yet another pure science prize after Physics prize from yesterday.
The 2024 Nobel Prize in chemistry has been awarded to a trio of scientists who used artificial intelligence to “crack the code” of almost all known proteins, the “chemical tools of life.”
