Misinformation and Fake News brought the US to where it is today, will it have the same result in Canada?

Can Canadians be informed enough to disarm the trolls and ensure Canada's values remains Peace, Order, and Good Government?

Just thinking...

In places where law and order no longer exists, does kindness get choked out by bullies?

Does trust escape us when there is no law, no government, no systems?

What is at the core of humanity, kindness or brutality?

Chief Justice John Roberts has led the Supreme Court ‘s conservative majority on a steady march of increasing the power of the presidency, starting well before Donald Trump’s time in the White House.

Interesting commentary on Trump’s National Security Document

DC believes they own us and Canadians need to wake up to the threat if they want to remain Canadian

The faster all the pieces align to the faster we can secure or autonomy

Be informed so you can compare misinfo by asking did you know…
Thank the stars that Canada chose PM Mark Carney. I cant even imagine (or face) where we would be heading were Poilievre in charge and why we must continue to expose the farce the CPC has become.

Can someone in the US remind me who has the constitutional power to declare war on a country?

Isn’t boring foreign citizens an act of war?

I still can’t figure out how Israel got away with bombing other countries let alone Trump

The military recruitment is hitting record numbers.

It is a path for young people to gain education and experience. Giving them a head start in the private sector

It’s not all young people though - some who signed up are in their 30s & 40s

Why are record numbers enlisting?

Carney’s job is to sell Canada to the world and a good salesperson listens to find out what the buyer needs from the product they are selling

For a banker, Carney is one hell of a Salesman!

If we want to keep our way of life, we need to restructure and transition, which is difficult
“The global economy is being rewired. Canada isn’t retreating.”

Our Liberal government is building new partnerships, diversifying trade, and unlocking new investments in Canada’s economy, so we can build our strength here at home.

It’s going to take generations to heal the wounds and build trust between the govt and FN

This is a good start …
Trust is never a given — it can only be earned through partnership.

My message at the AFN assembly was that as we build major projects and stronger communities, our government will be a true partner in that work.

We're diversifying our trade partners and building big at home — creating new career opportunities for Canadians, especially young people.

The state of the US economy is not reflected in its Stock Market but rather the length of its food bank lines.

Canada’s lines are getting longer too but our govt is investing in capital projects to create jobs in 2026 and beyond

#uspoli
...While Felon & Friends comfortably dine on beef wellington & crab legs.

Food banks should be absolutely unnecessary & this administration's torture of US citizens is unforgivable!
"I have never seen the line this long at this food bank, This is 4x the size of every previous year...the line wraps around the building a second time..Everyone is freezing and an older lady in line had to be taken inside because she looked like she was about to pass out from being too cold..."

DRIPA no longer has unanimous support thanks to a BC Supreme Court Judge

Did she overstep her jurisdiction or did she comply with DRIPA’s intent?

I worry this case will create pushback from the non indigenous community who didn’t know DRIPA existed b/c they weren’t paying attention

BC’s govt needs to modernize old laws

The BC Supreme Court’s Richmond ruling has put pressure on the NDP govt and with this case making its way through the courts, Eby is feeling more pressure

Was the DRIPA legislation flawed or is the BC Supreme Court overstepping it’s jurisdiction?

Nation building is about Provinces working together to come up w/ win win options that increase opportunities in all of Canada

It’s about working for the benefit of the whole country& not just a local interest

But balancing the values of diff Provinces is not easy, is it even possible?

Today, we remember the fourteen young women whose lives were stolen at Polytechnique Montréal 36 years ago.

Their names are a solemn reminder of the devastating toll of gender-based violence — and the responsibility that comes with our remembrance.

Canada needs a Steel mill in Alberta to provide affordable steel to the Westcoast

Eby wants the cheaper Chinese steel due to budgets and the higher cost transporting steel from ON than China

Carney has announced transport cost reductions to help BC buy CDN

Still 🇨🇦manufacturing needs to develop
When it was announced that Canada would be imposing tariffs on steel imports, I asked why Canada is resorting to Trumpian economics.

I don't believe any Liberal voters responded with any reasons.

So, I ask again: why is Carney copying Trump?
