We need more of this-much more.
The police chief in a small Minnesota city intervened to prevent ICE agents from arresting a local woman who had been observing and recording them from her car, when they took her into custody.

It's believed to be the first time a local police department in Minnesota intervened in an ICE action.

It’s a disgrace that all of these Trump officials will always have the title of government service - they don’t deserve that honor.
🤔 Deputy AG Todd Blanche: “Men that abused these girls? What does that mean?”

Incredibly, the Trump regime now pretends they don’t even understand that Epstein survivors were victimized by powerful men.

A jaw-dropping insult to everyone’s intelligence. #TrumpEpsteinCoverup

Criminal charges require criminal statutes. Civil remedies do not qualify. When prosecutors blur that boundary, the issue is not technical. It is fundamental.

This Is Not Normal: Authority in Abuse
Federal agents kill Americans, and legality is declared before evidence exists. Journalism is tested as criminal conduct. Constitutional limits are treated as obstacles.

Don Lemon's arrest is part of the Trump administration's campaign to criminalize journalism it doesn't like - the case was already rejected once - its baseless - my early take replayed here:

Holding a microphone is not a crime.

Anyone going to watch "Melania"?

Amazon paying 40 million for Melania movie - "The $35 million for marketing is 10 times what some other high-profile documentaries have received."

Charging a journalist for covering a protest is not law enforcement. It is intimidation. Calling reporters “embedded with rioters” does not erase the First Amendment.

Holding a microphone is not a crime.

Federal power used to be the check on abuse. Now ICE is acting with less restraint than the forces it once claimed to police. When federal agents operate under color of law without real scrutiny, accountability collapses and abuse expands

This is no longer an isolated incident. It is a pattern. ICE is demanding obedience first and answering questions later. When force is used and the outcome is declared immediately, law stops limiting power and power starts defining the law.

Anthem.
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Excusing lethal force by pointing to what an officer experienced months earlier is not law. The standard is what happened in that moment and how a reasonable officer would act. Changing the question is how accountability disappears.

DHS killed Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. Video contradicts the official story. Evidence had to be protected by court order.
When force comes first, truth has to fight to survive.

Without citizen video, there would be no Alex Pretti case to examine. Federal power depends on controlling the record. Cell phones broke that control. That is why documentation matters more than statements, reviews, or promises of oversight.

DHS claimed immediate medical aid was rendered. The footage raises serious questions about timing and adequacy while federal agents attempted to push local police off the scene. When lethal force is used, scrutiny matters more than press statements.

DHS agents killed Alex Pretti. Video shows him filming with a cellphone. His hands are visible. No footage shows him holding a weapon.

DHS officials claimed Alex Pretti posed a deadly threat. The video shows him holding a cell phone, moving to help a woman, then being pepper sprayed, swarmed, struck, and shot multiple times. Official statements do not match the footage. Evidence matters.
