The current government of Honduras accomplished a big thing:
They ruled ZEDEs (Zone for Employment and Economic Development) unconstitutional. Retroactively.
Prospera, a ZEDE = Unconstitutional
Network State = Unconstitutional
You need a coup to reverse that.

Here in the US, many of us have been educated like shit, but I would like to point out that El Salvador neighbors Honduras.

These investments mean that crypto companies have profound incentives to coup countries in the global south where they are creating "special economic zones" to push crypto adoption.
This doesn't end with Honduras. But it is a wake-up call to the true power of tech fascism.

When I worked in tech, I always worked straight through the holiday while everyone was fucking off. No one to impede progress, no dumb feedback, no incompetence. They would come back from holiday in January, I would hand off exquisite work, then go on a fancy beach vacation with my bonus in hand.😂
