I went searching for a blanket to shield us from the winter cold,
but found a skull beneath the rubble…
It was neither stone nor wood it was what remained of a moon that once lived in this home.
They left, taking warmth with them; now even a blanket is a dream,
and even bones are no longer safe.

and the leaders will shake hands,

but that old woman will still wait for her martyred son,
that young girl will still wait for her beloved husband,
and those children will still wait for their heroic father…
I do not know who sold the homeland,
but I have seen who paid the price.

They still weren’t satisfied with the blood! The “ceasefire” was brutal for the occupying army, which takes its full pleasure in slaughter especially the blood of children so they placed children’s toys and canned food, booby-trapped, among the rubble of homes to cause more casualties..

I’ll never understand the ridiculous negative comments about those protesting for Gaza.
At least they’re doing something.
While you sit behind your phone and criticize,
they’re out there risking everything
and in some way, those protests did help pressure the world toward a ceasefire.
