Mom got me a cookie on a “Cookie Walk” we went on. Businesses gave out cookies and warm drinks. I even got my own beef and bacon cookie with frosting!

I got to see my foster momma and family after we passed recertification. I was fostered for the first year of my life to learn how to be a family dog.

This is my first momma. She’s a veteran as well.

We flew to Portland and drove up to Washington to recertify as a service dog team.

This is how I fly. We get a bulkhead seat, and I squish in at mom’s feet.

On Saturday’s we go to Patriot’s Garage. A nonprofit veteran outreach program. There a huge field. I get to run around like the dog I am. Mom takes off my vest and lets me go.

I may need another bath. 🐾

Mom was sick earlier this week. I snuggled up with her, and made her feel better.

Mom’s back to full capacity. We go to the gym on weekday mornings. That’s pretty much my job these days. Protect mom at the gym.

I’m loving being a country dog! I get to run around the yard multiple times a day. We frequent the gym and the grocery store. There’s not a ton of working opportunities, but that’s okay. I enjoy being a dog.
