Oh wow!!! Completely creepy!! :)
Not spooky but trying to think of a relaxed costume and I thought I could use this fuschia pullover I knit
as the base. chowder, one of my fave cartoon characters, is a fuschia fellow- and this hat off ravelry looks ideal! Dare I? May wear to a Halloween themed knitting event #showmeyourknits
Yes, I was thinking that when I looked at this picture, “hey they look a lot shorter than they look in my hand.”Just about perfect. 👌 using every single day and still no complaints. it *would* be better if the battery lasted forever, 😹. seems to last 2 to 3 hours for 2 to 3 days …Approx 10 hours?
Thanks didn’t think to look there -
Cute yarn! Wondering what this is …
These are gorgeous. I think the variety of color and textures are amazing. Reading you say you need to try something *more* exciting is amazing to me lol. I can understand a bit, but I have only ever knit 3 socks (starting #4).
A #sock completed! Not yet blocked and not “perfect”, but still very happy with it. Started studying network stuff for my job and the writing of flash cards has kind of messed up my elbow, so I’m gonna take a break from both socks and writing #showmeyourknits #knitsky 🧶. May start a #sweater ! Lol
Bummer! Was worried that’d be the case for me too, but yes I lucked out after looking at several…Added the link for the ones I got in case you ever want to try again.
One last post for #showmeyourknits theme of care and joy - bit of self-care with my new neck light- actually progressing on these socks with dark yarn, whereas before it was very slow going!! Also my baby alpaca v neck pullover- started last year, finished a week or so ago. So soft!
#showmeyourknits #knitsky working on socks for my son who has tree trunk legs. Theme of care.
Plus #socktober is almost here ;) 🧶
Interesting! 🧐 well I won’t avoid intarsia in future at least….though not sure I’m ready to seek it out. ;) thanks for the confidence boost :)
Yes I’m very much still a beginner - maybe advanced beginner at best. never even thought about intarsia! Only a bit of stranded colorwork here and there. my daughter picked it out and asked for the stripe, which I figured I could handle!
Thanks! An easy addition to make it a bit more interesting with not much more work. Was a bit unsure where to work it in, but seems to be just right! 😅
Pullover I finished in September for my daughter off in a very wintry state for school! She just got it and loves it!! And it fits with the theme of joy and care. #showmeyourknits #knitsky #yarncrazy last year she was often cold Dec-Feb so this year we are doing better❄️
Gorgeous and it looks like it is fresh off the needles… any tips for preserving knits that you find especially good?
Great colors and totally spooky!
See my other comment for pattern info- it is pretty neat!
Woven stitch shawl, orangey merino from wool festival is fairly autumnal… +some other merinos from Lys. Glad to find a project using two yarns alternating every 2 rows to show off the single hand dyed merino hank. Stitch was fun, easy and looks cool imo. -#showmeyourknits #knitsky
Really like the sweater idea- could imagine knitting something like this if it was just the sleeves…
