No surprise that the 2 NTX reps "Daddy" ordered TX to get rid of with their new map are the only ones that went to the FBI to demand more information about the three detainees who were shot, one fatally, at an ICE field office earlier in the week & then were denied.

If he bothered to communicate and work with state senator Roland Gutierrez, he would know. Instead of posting outrage, how about actually working with a Texas Democrat who has actually been working on getting accountability for the families.
I still am stunned, years later, that dozens of cops at Uvalde waited 77 minutes to kill the shooter while kids died.

For educators in states requiring the 10 Commandments be posted in your classrooms: consider also posting the fundamental tenants/truths of other world religions so that your students get a basic/simplistic crash course in comparative religion & see there basic are similarities among all faiths.

Crazy idea, but language is important. Instead of talking about tarrifs, why not use the more common synonym... import tax. Call it what it is that even the least educated among us can understand.

I get that networks go to wall street people/ceos/hedge fund people for comment,but these people are in the 1% who are going to be ok no matter what happens. They have no clue what it's like for most of us & don't give a shit how this financial fiasco affects everyone else (in their view, peasants).

Thanks to the tarrifs, don't be surprised when drug prices go up (for you and for your insurer). From my own med list, 1 drug is manufactured in Austria; another in Belgium; and all others in India. And all of these are the generics/bio similars that aren't as effective as the original...

Those of us in TX have been begging for everyone to pay attention. Our state has been under R control for close to 30 years and is where ALEC tries out it white Christo fascist legislation. TX R leadership is all in on the cruelty & control because they can't stand that whites are the minority.

This is a post from TX's senior senator who has made it clear he has nothing but contempt for the people he represents. He assumes that those protesting aren't R voters (which many actually are) & are all tied to groups. But this post shows that showing up and calling pisses him off, so keep it up.

Someone explain to me like I'm 5 why it's ok that private citizen co-president now has access to everyone's data if they have EVER sent or received money from the government, including bank info. And also, medical records for everyone on Medicare or Medicaid. What the f*!
