For gamedev.world 2023, and before they choose to use a third-party service, I started experimenting on the captioner to make its own independent service. Here's some crude screnshots of the prototype's interface, similar to a chat room. Maybe I should finish it and move on.

The enigma I'm facing: I currently have two implementations, one for network packets only relying on a schema for data crunching (similar to gRPC), and one for storing a JavaScript value including more data so it can be decoded without one, in case I need to apply migrations or reconstruct it.
