New character! Surely he won't be completely busted (clueless)
After months and months of silence... We have audio! Screen shake for big moves as well.

Sounds for the time being are being *borrowed* from other games as I wait for the sound designer to get started.
In general, my philosophy was making the models a lot more flexible, and just generally look nicer. I've since ditched the low poly and pixelated look, because I don't think it fits my vision going forward. I hope you guys think models look much nicer!
Finally, we have Dave, who has had a few changed. He has much wider shoulders than the rest of the cast, as well as much bigger hands, reflecting his grappler role. I've also added flaps below his belt, and made the belt make more sense.
I've had one too many comparisons to Rick Sanchez, So I decided to change his hair a bit to a more slicked back look. His weapon has also changed a little bit
For the slugger I also wanted to make his weapon a lot more interesting, making it some kind of rocket powered weapon. He himself has not changed much. He is also a bit shorter than the rest of the cast, which isn't shown very well here
Next up is the Surgeon! I wanted to make his weapon feel more personal, so I added wraps, a tag and made it look a bit more interesting.
As part of my game rework efforts, I've been mainly focusing on new models for all the characters, as I was not happy at all with how the old ones looked. Here are some comparisons, starting with the Brawler! (🧵)

I plan on doing a small rewrite to use 2D instead of 3D for extra performance and easier code. Right now, I'm working on menus and art stuff 😁

Here is a video showcasing the scientist's abilities! His specials all have a charge cost indicated on his player card, and all apply a passive stack, which explodes after 3 stacks. Any and all feedback appreciated 😁 About to work on the next character 👀😼

I have a character in my game with a separate charge meter to execute some of his abilities. Which would look better as a charge indicator on his player card? I wish polls existed on here 😅
