So happy to announce that my book on the history of the #BHAFC matchday programme, will be published at the end of November. The result of a nearly 15-year labour of love, it will be the perfect addition to any coffee table! Keep checking back here for details on how to buy!
I love this photo of Jimmy Case scoring at Anfield in the #FACup tie in February 1983. #BHAFC won 2-1, on their way to the final. It's from Tim Carder's brilliant book 'Seagulls!' and it was autographed for me by Jimmy around 20 years ago in Southampton.

#BHAFC are approaching the 125th anniversary of the club's formation. I've written a book charting the history of Albion's matchday programme over that time. It's so important to appreciate the programme, in these days of digital content. You can buy it at seagullsprogrammes.co.uk

The most recent #BHAFC v #LFC #FACup meeting came just 3 years ago, a 4th round tie at The Amex. The 29,482 crowd, which included nearly 5,000 visiting fans, saw a great game which Albion edged 2-1. Lewis Dunk and Kauro Mitoma with the goals. #LIVBHA

2011/12 and off to Anfield again, in the #FACup 5th round. It didn't quite go #BHAFC's way, with THREE own goals contributing to a 6-1 win for #LFC. The unlucky players were Liam Bridcutt (2) and Lewis Dunk. Shame, because Kazenga LuaLua's free kick was a screamer #LIVBHA

1990/91 saw another #FACup classic between #BHAFC and #LFC. The first game at Anfield saw the Reds go 2-0 up, only for a great fightback by Albion earned us a replay. It was 1-1 after 90 minutes at The Goldstone, but a tense extra time saw Liverpool squeak through 3-2 #LIVBHA

In 82/83, #BHAFC struggled in the league, but we got to the final of the #FACup. The 5th round saw us drawn away to #LFC. The reds were on their way to the title and no-one gave Albion a chance. 4,000 fans roared us to a 2-1 victory, with Gerry Ryan and Jimmy Case scoring #LIVBHA

Get involved people. A beautifully nostalgic journey back in time, via the pages of a magazine that played such a big part in the football education of so many people, me included. Magnificent
