I am proud to say I got FIRST PLACE with my story about a rider in need of a horse to save a girl. This was my first time submitting anywhere since 6th grade and I am very pleased and proud that I placed.

🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations to the winners! 🎉🎉🎉
Over 200 submissions showed an impressive range of fantastical takes on the Old West, making the selection of the finalists extremely difficult. Check out the winners at the link and thank you to all who participated!!

The general submissions portal is now open for all writers. We are looking for speculative fiction stories, 5000 words or under, and our preference is for something that is, more or less, fun.

This is Eleanor Rigby, aka Ellie, aka Ellie belly. She is 11 years young and one of the primary obstacles I blame when I want to write. Her favorite place to sit is between me and the keyboard and her favorite thing to do is to destroy feathered toys.
A small brown tabby cat with greenish eyes gives the camera a very unimpressed look. She is lounging on a person's pajama clad lap.
