For far too long, government has been seen as an abstraction, synonymous with inefficiency, corruption, and waste. Yet Trump/Musk's firings are beginning to show the public that government workers are real people with families and career aspirations. That they are being horribly mistreated.

México is not responsible for what leaves its borders, but what enters. Custom checks are not at the exists, but entrances. If Trump expects MX to prevent things entering the US, then US should prevent guns going to MX.

House Ethics Committee Republicans have landed on an excuse of not releasing the Gaetz report because it’s “unfinished,” and that would set bad precedent. Yes, THAT’S the precedent we must avoid— but nominating someone accused of child sex trafficking? That precedent is apparently fine with the GOP.
