We learned fairness as children. As adults, we should stand up for that value and what it truly means.

“Target has made itself clear. They believe that accommodating Trump’s politics of cruelty, fear and resentment is more valuable than the dignity and wellbeing of many of their customers and employees.”

“This moment calls for all of us to stand up for our values, not to throw them aside.”
Rollback of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives at Target is Capitulation to Trump’s Politics of Meanness says Senator Scott Dibble | Minnesota Senate DFL
ST. PAUL, MN. — Target Corporation has announced that it is rolling back or ending a number of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives at its company. It joins a growing list of American companie...

People need travel options regardless of where they live.

But the options available vary. And transit agencies are getting creative.

In Eden Prairie, we recently visited with SW Transit to understand the autonomous vehicle pilot & see the vehicles first hand. 1/

I recently visited Serve MN, headquartered in 61a. They run the state's AmeriCorps programs of 2000+ members in 78 counties. It was great to hear from CEO Julia about the fantastic education, enviro, health services & more that members provide.

Unfortunately, Trump's actions put these at risk...1/2

If Dems attended the first day of session without an agreement, GOP would have kicked out Rep. Tabke, and seized control of the House for two years.

This power sharing agreement protects the voters of Shakopee and the voters of Minnesota who sent a tie to the House.

Esp. in challenging times, parks can be critical for respite & gathering with community.

Mpls Parks are top in the nation b/c we invest in them. I was pleased to join Reps Lee & Jordan last week to hear Exec. Dir. Bangoura's team share Park priorities to expand & improve these vital public spaces.

Enjoyed talking w/ neighbors about expanding housing options in MN!

No one can thrive w/o a roof over their head. But MN is short 100,000 homes! And too often low-income & BIPOC neighbors face the worst of this. We must make building homes, from sr. living to duplexes, condos to townhomes, easier.

In MN, we need energy to stay warm in winter & cool in summer.

Last week, we toured a district #energy plant in Mpls.

They deliver steam & chilled water to buildings, which is currently mostly created by burning fossil gas.

This matters for #climate.

🧵on district energy & making it clean.

We could not be more proud! Ken will be leaving the DFL with an undefeated statewide victory record, and Minnesota is better for it. Take it from us—there is no one better to rally our party and lead us to victory in the fights ahead.

Congratulations Ken!!!

Instead of spending even more time and money on lawsuits benefiting Rep. Niska’s law partners, House GOP should join us in negotiations to reach a co-governing agreement that honors the will of the voters of Shakopee and the voters of MN.

The Governor has proposed cuts to disability waivers, which provide important housing, healthcare, transportation, and programing services to people with disabilities in our communities. I was grateful for the time today to dig into the issue with fellow members of the @mnhousedfl.bsky.social .

Thanks to MNA nurses from HCMC for sharing their experiences working in our public hospital. Lack of transparency of the governing board is a growing concern. We should expect visibility & access into the decision-making of our public institutions.

President Trump just shut off funding for law enforcement, farmers, schools, veterans, and health care.

We are working diligently to reverse this, but we are preparing for every outcome to help Minnesotans weather this storm.

Minnesota needs answers. We’ll see Trump in court.

Trump is pausing all federal grants. This represents more than $1+ trillion, 36.4% of state revenue in FY22 dollars. This is INSANE.

This is money everyday people need for health care, education, transit, environmental protections, and other key services. 1/2
