@robcruickshank.bsky.social hey, I picked up some colour photo processing stuff (nothing impressive) like processing tank rollers and enlarging filters (mostly Cibachrome). Are these landfill, or could someone use them?

this was an art class project my brother made in second grade. the teacher spray painted computer punch cards for them to fold. the cards are stapled to a paper plate with garland around the center. i’ve always been very fond of it

I'm slightly embarrassed to be asking about this, but I've been looking for some particularly cheesy conference call hold music (aka music on hold) for years. It was on a Telus (Canada) conference call system operated for my then employer, an Alberta-based power utility. It may have been any time from 2006–8, perhaps as late as 2013. All I have to help you is my extremely poor rendition of the main theme on a cellphone keyboard-type thing:

I wrote about this too. Why isn’t Ontario hitting the barricades in rage? We’ve so little lake access. Entirely privatized shorelines. You could give the province away to oligarchs & people would be meh. Thx to Fatima for calling this early on.
