Solidarity is good but Panzerbrigade 45 is not enough to stop the Russian army invading the Baltics.😨

NATO should deploy the German-Netherlands Corps - a division to each Baltic state - 9 brigades, 45K troops.

The NATO politicians and officials seem very reluctant to let the NATO military do the job they are trained to do - deter or defeat Russia, presenting Russia with as belligerent a military posture as is required to get Russia to back down, remove its troops from Ukraine etc.

My strategy calls for NATO to become fiercely territorial - for example, denying Russian planes passage to Kaliningrad, blockading Russia by land, sea & air.

But Pistorius is too timid - unwilling to shoot planes down or reinforce the Baltics faster than at a snail's pace.

Germany should ask #NATO to deploy 45K troops from the German-Netherlands Corps to the defence of the Baltics - a clever defensive move, guarding weaknesses - provoked or not.

Putin is the enemy and Trump is the weak link but he is right to ask the Europeans to do more, as is my plan which sends 45,000 German and Dutch troops from a "rapidly deployable" corps" to the Baltics.

NATO has many "rapidly deployable corps" who SACEUR can't/won't budge.

Possibly every SACEUR faces the same issue - political unwillingness to deploy the necessary ground forces to defend the Baltics to a high standard of confidence.

It's my duty to point out these deficiencies in NATO defences and try to get to bottom of why they haven't been remedied.
