Yes, harsh words have been exchanged at times. But these moments didn’t happen in isolation. They followed years of frustration, broken trust, and repeated disrespect.

If you knew the version of C that our family has lived with day to day, you would understand how those tensions built over time.

For years, C's parents have tried to set normal boundaries with C. Things like contributing to household expenses, respecting quiet hours, and even doing the bare minimum to care for her child.

Each time, she responds with new accusations and fabricated stories or refuses to help.

We know what’s coming next. C will likely respond by saying she’s been abused, threatened, and has done nothing wrong.

Before that happens, we want to offer some context.

It’s awful to have to post something like this, but unfortunately action must be taken.

Unless you’re commissioning her for art, please do not send her money or assistance based on these blatant lies.

The lease has been an open discussion in the home for years and was finalized in early September, long before that court order. The timeline she’s giving isn’t true.

This is untrue and deeply misleading. C's parents have had permanent custody of her child for years. The court recently deemed her and her partner unfit parents. C's parents are the sole caregivers of her child. Her statement that they “started a legal matter for no reason” is completely false.

C claims her room has black mold. There is no black mold in the home. Her room was renovated in 2021 and has never flooded.

Additionally, the window in her room is completely intact.

C frequently stays up all night participating in loud voice calls regardless of the schedule of others and their own child. This is, by all measures, rude and inconsiderate.

Her rent is, again, 17 days overdue.

C voluntarily signed the lease, which was, in fact, legally vetted. She was not threatened. The “no trespass” letter stems from the fact that her husband is verbally abusive and has threatened on multiple occasions to harm C and our family or take the child away to 🇨🇦 (he does not have custody, FYI).

C is 31-years-old, and her parents pay for almost all of her expenses (not all, but most). In September, they had both her & her brother sign a rental agreement for $500/mo, well below market rate. The late fee she mentioned ($50/day) is standard across the country. Her rent is now 17 days overdue.
