Vale Professor David Stuart Letham FAA (1926-2025)
Stuart was a pioneering plant scientist who discovered cytokinins, transforming our understanding of plant biology. A Fellow since 1983, Stuart spent most of his career at the ANU's Research School of Biological Sciences.
