Oh, right, the US Supreme Court just decided that the president is immune and can commit crimes.

I don't think the rest of the world is in a position to help you. Sounds hard, but you, you as in the people of the US, might have to do that on yourself.

If the US isn't handing over a member of the military, why do you think they would arrest and hand over a president? Current or former? I doubt you'll find a Democrat willing to go that far.

And you'd need someone to do the arresting. There are open warrants for Putin and Netanyahu. Trump hasn't arrested either of his buddies.

Netanyahu was in Hungary, and Orban didn't have him arrested.

The US will never hand over a president. Otherwise there would have been a Bush/Cheney-trial.

The USA doesn't recognize the ICC and has stated numerous times that they would never hand over a member of the US military for trial.

As long as AI can't differentiate between mo(u)ld (the kind that grows) and mo(u)ld (the form thing), I think human translators will be needed.

And don't even get me started on formal and informal language. Or word-games. And cultural aspects.

Der Economist liefert einen neuen Datenpunkt für die These, dass Unternehmen Berufseinsteiger durch KI ersetzen. Und in ein paar Jahren fragen sie sich, wo die erfahrenen Angestellten bleiben, die Fehler der KI reparieren können. Es ist so kurzsichtig.

I usually use the bomerang heel (German short rows) but am knitting GumGum socks right now which means, I have to figure out a different heel because my usual one doesn't work with the pattern.
