Hey all! A lil update for those on here who still check for Zoomies updates:

Multiplayer is still coming! There are a lot of bugs and niggles to sort out before I am happy with releasing an MP demo!

Apologies for the delay. MP is very complex and takes a while to implement!

Turns out implementing a localisation system as well as a UI refresh is a MASSIVE task. One that I grossly underestimated 😅

No word on the release of Zoomies 0.9.7 for now, but I'll be working on a meaty Dev Diary so I can show you all what I've been working on!

tip for horror game devs: attach a light source to your first-person player models.

just a small low-emitting light, just enough for a player lost in darkness to see a nearby wall if they were close enough to it or the floor they're standing on.

even horror games need accessibility and QoL.

Hey all! You can probably tell from the lack of posts that I’ve not had much time for dev this month! So the next zoomies update is going to be a bit delayed.

I have a week off work from today so I’ll make sure to devote some time to it :)
