we fostered a world where grifting is rewarded and talent is punished. I literally cant share ads for my book because its considered "self promotion" but people making crappy ai memes can post anywhere they want. Youve killed art and youve pissed on its grave.

My art gets taken and resold on shirts without my knowledge. My animations get downloaded and reuploaded as Reaction Videos. I put the work in, I put the talent and time in, and I'm dissected for parts and tossed away while my surgeons eat rich tonight. I think Im just done and defeated with it.

I have an AI book reviewer trying to scam me and... yall... It just feels like being "creative for the internet" benefits everyone else except the artist at this point. I wrote a book, the Book Reviewers made more money off it than I have. AI scammers stole it and make money off remixing it.

Day 9 of #Artober is #DetectiveConan from #CaseClosed #Anime. I visited Japan earlier this year & a new DC movie came out so they were advertising it everywhere. I decided to give it a shot, watched it in Japanese w/ no Subtitles on Netflix, liked it and rewatched it w/ subtitles back in the states!

Book 1 mostly takes place in an abandoned weird house in the mountains, however the stuff leading up to that are based on places I’ve been. For instance the Gas Station is 1 to 1 one I’ve been to near Napa. Book 2 I’m emulating the feel of conventions I’ve been to, like GenCon and ACEN

My recommendation is "Dakotaraptor or Anzu for South Dakota Hell Creek Formation." Mostly because I did a dig there earlier this year and want it badly haha
