I love how I went to update the Wiki about postseason games having extra innings shortly after the game was cinched to see that it was already done. Two of the five times it's gone to extra innings were by The #Dodgers in Game 3. It was almost 7 years to the day past Muncy's finish. #worldseries

I got pulled away from the game for a bit because of calls with family due to news.

I am back to watching the game, having also used it as a reason to get off a call that went somewhere that was unnecessary & awful because that's a theme with most family.

Got a phone call from a family member, which meant, of course, one thing- someone died. Thankfully, that someone dying wasn't my grandpa- but it was his younger brother. Damnit. #fuckcancer RIP Uncle Jules :( You were a good one.

And now I'm looking him up on socials because I wasn't connected to him on socials previously (most of my family are conservatives), to message his daughters who were my age. I am looking at his feed & am frustrated. He was kind to me, but his public politics (we didn't talk about them) were AWFUL.
