I’ve been away visiting an old friend but I’m back now, and have my new computer up and running great! I can finally edit photos from last month! An osprey paused to rest for a few minutes, as the fish was fairly large. © Sandra Blair

When the water is low, fish gather in smaller areas that attract lots of herons, egrets, terns, and cormorants. Disputes erupt and Snowy Egrets are always ready to rumble. This is a very tight crop. © Sandra Blair

Unfortunately, she'll be fired shortly.
Water gates in wetlands allow water to flow in and out with the tide, along with lots of small fish. Egrets use these structures to fish from. This territorial Snowy Egret has an attitude because another Snowy is below him on the same structure. © Sandra Blair
