What a sad way to go. Colorado falls a 5–0 loss after playing an incredible game to skirt elimination on Friday.

The team lost to the Canucks last season in the first round, so we knew this would be a challenging matchup. Looking forward to what next season holds.

Lots of penalties after period end. Sammy Blais gets a major for interference (5 minutes) and a game misconduct for interference (10 minutes). He will sit for 15 minutes.

Tynan also received an unsportsmanlike conduct, but will only sit for two minutes.

Again, the Eagles come out of the period without making much progress. Tynan showed some life and seemed to sightly change the momentum, but only with very little time left on the clock.

One more frame to make something happen.

The back half of this period is looking slightly better, at least the Eagles are taking the puck to net and creating chances. Getting past Šilov is the real challenge.
