I do map stuff for vr and there's times when testing that it's faster to use the always launch option. The issue is, when I'm in vr it'll still open the desktop as that's what my setting is set too. I'm suggesting that it should ignore that option when steamvr is detected over just normal steam.

This was in reference to the little (Always launch this option) checkbox, if you use that and are in vr, it'll still launch the desktop version. I'm saying, if steamvr is running that it should ignore the always launch option and start the VR version.

Hey @steampowered.com If I'm on desktop, I only want the game to start in desktop. If I'm in VR and SteamVR is running don't you think that it'd be nice if the preferred option was ignored and I dunno you start the VR CLIENT option instead!?!?!?!

I get a small kick out of the hypocrisy on the other site, don't use my stuff for AI, we hate AI, don't train the AI...

All the while posting there art and models to "Show off & Advertise" on a site that uses everything you submit to train it's AI... Good Job👍

I know this isn't fool proof, someone could verify/login and then pass the headset to someone else. Unless the system is routinely checking, this is the only way that I can think of how someone would "beat" the system. 🧵

It's not about actually verifying your of age, they just want you to voice your age so that it's on record and they can use it like evidence if anyone gets called out or found out for being underage. Because "They said they were 18" works so well as a defense in these situations...

There's people who don't trust the vrc age gating system, these people think that having you voice your age (That hearing you is a way to sus out liars) but also that they have you on digital record so that if anything ever comes up, they can pull out the recording as "Proof" to protect themselves.
