Trust me, that is exactly how I felt when I got into 3D.

I wanted to do the most advanced things first so I would struggle and give up.

I found my breakthrough by doing little projects until I had a better understanding of the whole picture.

For stylization, study what you would like to emulate and expand on.

The basics will always come down to simple shapes: boxes, circles, and lines.

Following different people's approaches to the breakdown of how they interpret subjects can get you in the right mindset.

To me it just sounds like twitch is intentionally becoming more hostile to streamers who aren't the 1% top performers... Which sucks big time.

I think shaders can play a major role in the final look but I can see what you mean. Both Arcane/Warcraft seem to favor baked lighting/high contrast. Arcane probably leans heavy into hand-painted normals since they work with a bit heavier lighting than Warcraft.
