Thank you so much
That means a lot to me
I love the motion, and the energy of this. Beautiful 🤩
I gave myself a challenge drawing my portrait every October. Partly as a fun way to document my aging process, partly as a way to see my art style evolve over time.
I believe that working with a model is a collaborative experience, one that allows for both parties to create something they enjoy. As always, I’m grateful to @sheron1995.03 (from Instagram) for helping to create this drawing.
Wow—the silence in this moment is still very loud. What a beautiful find. Thank you for sharing.
I love the thick brush strokes. It’s very painterly, and gives you a connection with the artist as well as the model.
“The Offering”
Model @mathiasnat.bsky.social presented me with a unique pose that inspired this scene. Who do you think is the god?
Despite the tension in their bodies, this drawing doesn’t seem violent at all. Stunningly beautiful 🤩
The looseness of the paintbrush gives this a dreamlike quality
I love it
Elegant. It’s quiet perfection.
Thank you! The pose definitely asked for some jazz movement
Originally, the model was holding a phone. But—come on, the pose just begged for a cane. What dance move comes next?
I love this. It feels nostalgic somehow.
Thank you! I enjoyed working on just a section of the body this time.
One of the cool parts about my hobby is getting to see people’s bodies change over time. When an anonymous model got a tattoo, I had to try drawing it. Thanks friend!
Sneak peek: Putting some final touches on tomorrow’s post.
This is so remarkable. The love the smooth details, and the nature it represents. Thank you so much for sharing!
I have always appreciated the expressive qualities @biglittlelinesart.bsky.social brings to modeling.
I love the way their thighs dram the central handclaps too. It beautiful—sexy, and charming all at once.
Thank you. I want to slow down and be more mindful of my pencil strokes, but I am happy with this one. I think it shows my progress well.
“Come on in”
Thank you to the model @kar_lodelmondo from Instagram. I really enjoyed working on the textures in this piece.
Absolutely stunning. The technique adds so much atmosphere to this drawing. I love it
Thank you! It’s a work in progress. 😉
