Whigfield had an appearance on 17 December 1994 which wasn't mentioned on the programme catalogue entry.

It was the Trev & Simon 'Let's Go Bonkers!' sketch and they wanted her to say 'FISH'

Here's a sting from the early days of The Saturday Show.
This was retired, along with all other original graphical elements, after the programme had a 'small' revamp in January 2002 which was just under four months after it launched in September 2001!

BBC Saturday morning television began 49 years ago on 2 October 1976 at 9.30am when the Multi-Coloured Swap Shop was first broadcast.

Two other programmes also began on 2 October - Saturday SuperStore (1982) and Live & Kicking (1993).
