2025 sucks.

Saturday AM's founder, @frederickljones.bsky.social, was in college when the afrocentric movement and nu soul were making their way into pop culture. Black creative pride was ascendant.

During this #IndigenousPeoplesDay we encourage everyone to unpack the myths about that infamous expedition of 1492. Indigenous peoples weren’t waiting to be discovered, and are still alive and thriving today, so we want to honor and acknowledge the histories of those from the Western Hemisphere.
