there were a couple of times where i almost convinced myself to buy one (especially most recently...) but i wonder if i would cave if they released one with aventurine. i know robin had one but i heard there were bugs/issues. i wonder if this merch is so delicate you can only use them at home?

those character earphone merch are so incredible whenever i see them. being able to hear my favorite character directly in my ear... even tho i would be a bit embarassed to own one, i think they're cool. but it'd be scary if it broke down one day especially since they are limited and expensive...

in the end, once ratio picks up on it and decides to act on his feelings (bc ofc he likes churin as well), this too becomes aventurine's win

his intentions and his own feelings are probably obvious but rather than being the one to confess one sidedly, he would make it so that ratio is technically meeting him half way.

actually now that i think about it, this is coming off as super possesive isnt it? anyway... no matter what, i dont think aventurine himself will say he likes ratio. the point is for him to make ratio fall for him

i think there will come a point when he'll realize spoiling the doctor with gifts or credits is useless so his next move is smartly altering his schedule to line up with the doctor's so they can spend time together, pretending to be just as surprised when ratio says 'what a coincidence, gambler'

getting in his personal space with simple touches or leaning in just a big closer. his voice laced with a flirtatious tone as he gazes at the doctor with affection. 'you'll like me if i do this wont you?' is what he thinks fully aware he's a beautiful person with captivating eyes

im sure ratio himself comes to understand this at some point and deciding to entertain aventurine (as usual) is what leads to him hunting the gambler down to his fullest ability

btw even tho he's avoiding ratio he secretly enjoys being chased down. in the end, since what he truly wants is to be with ratio, its his "win" when ratio eventually corners him

both the idea of #ratiorine where aventurine picks up on ratio liking him and decides to avoid the doctor so he moves on and stops liking him vs aventurine liking ratio too much and tactically getting the doctor to fall for him back so ratio makes the "first move" are good...

sorry my reply got too long,,, 🙇‍♀️ in the end this is why i never really felt the urge to buy excessive amount of merch before hsr came along (now i watch hsr tmall like a hawk and spend money on it too easily... this is the secret con to having accessible merch 💸)

(w/ the exception of their own limited in person event item ofc but even then they are not as frequent and with its popularity its never hard to find reliable big name proxy who already want to buy)

kaiju no8,, im sure if i looked i would be able to find it but its the fact i need to consider proxy or even reseller due to the nature of most of their merch being gachapon (the most troublesome), in person event item, or are sold on variety of official websites with their own shipping price

on the other hand this ship im starting to get into only has merch thru gachapon, limited in store event, and is from a seasonal anime so merch release is sparse... plus, i dont think its v popular where im from so the chance of seeing even the basic merch in anime stores i go to is quite low...

plus, theres just churin in general who is well liked so the chance of him getting merch is very high (ratio as well tho most likely only due to churin)

man... i've been into buying merch of rtrn or churin merch for so long that when i felt interested in buying merch of another ship i started to like, i once again realize how easy we have it that hsr merch is so? accessible? its a popular title where merch can churn out monthly after all

as for 11/11, by then v3.7 will have started which means they can start releasing evernight and dhpt theme items but really i think the merch could be anything for that...
