Three generations of spectrphotometers currently on display. Thanks to @Fysiografen to help upgrading our absorbance measurement facilities in the functional ecology group. Now, cuvette, microplate and microvolume (3-124 uL) in-line measurements can be done. All down to UV-range!

Hi 👋 🦋! For all new followers, I’m a microbial ecologist working with #microfluidic chip systems to better understand the lives of #fungi, how they interact with each other and other organisms (like collembola) in the soil. I also enjoy studying #plantmicrobiomes and arbuscular #mycorrhizal fungi.

Hallo Blueskylers. Todays lab outcome: nice video footage on nanoplastic interaction with fungal hyphae. U see green nanoplastic dots depositing or bypassing the hyphae (alongated shape). Not good for publication, but exciting to look at 😀 #nanoplastic #groundwater #fungi #microfluidics #soilchip
