watched black phone. while I think the implied 'rules' the grabber set for himself are really interesting, overall found the imagery SUPER harmful - yes there have been real queer serial killers but they didn't look like sexy leather daddies

Because you can say ok - our more progressive candidate didn't win the primary, so then we have a choice of writing in a preferred candidate, unfortunately that would split the vote and hand a win to an insane right wing person vs just an old democrat who doesn't do anything but also won't kill us

We try - it is a huge challenge to mobilize the sheer number of people living in the US, even to do so in a single state and dem leadership has been really resistant to progressive change in the party. I think it's not clear to outsiders how the system works and how it prevents change at every level
